I have worked in a number of different settings including:

- Prisons & Youth Offending Institutes.
- Women’s refuges
- Crisis centres
- Hostels & homeless agencies
- Psychiatric units
I have worked with a diverse range of young people of different cultural, ethnic and social class backgrounds, different sexual orientations, religious beliefs and physical and educational abilities.
I specialise in working with hard to reach young people who do not traditionally engage with therapeutic and mental health services, which they may find too formal, intimidating and out of touch with young people today.
I offer
- Initial consultation with referral agency free of charge.
- Face-to-face therapy sessions and telephone counselling – short and long term work.
- Flexible therapeutic programmes designed in consultation with the referral agency and young person, to best suit the individual needs of the young person.
- Customised service level agreement.
- Therapy contracts outlining the responsibilities of both therapist and client.
REFERRAL SOURCES
I welcome referrals of young people wanting psychotherapy from a number of referral agencies including:
- social services
- doctors surgeries
- youth offending teams mental health services (CAMHS) psychiatric units solicitors schools and colleges youth services, both specialist and mainstream
